Much like everyone else on here Selene finance has been abusive in their tactics ,changing the details from one loan modification i made with company A, they next few days they acquired my debt and then changed the terms without my signature and the date to begin moved upwards of 5 months. they required me to pay by money order or certified check for 12 months. so towards the 11 month mark i had already been essentially approved for a new loan at 2.75% by the new company and when they inquired about my loan repayment details they told that company i had made zero payments so i lost that loan due to their lies. Luckily i had hired an attorney early on and since that time they filed foreclosure and i have beaten them 3 times in court. they appeal each time. so now i am stuck being forced to tolerate their tactics. i am disabled vet and have the money to pay this off but they refuse to mediate even a nickel off their numbers. it is abusive to myself to be held hostage by them for over 5 years now with no end in site. next step is to hopefully file a elder financial abuse against them. seeing others here i know they have screwed everyone they have gotten their clutches on peoples homes and can only imagine how much they have stolen from so many people. i owed less than $42k on my home and they have run the bill up to $190,000 on a note they probably paid less than $15-20 k on at most. they even filed a second foreclosure case on top of the active case we are currently fighting with them over. just another tactic to ramp up pressure and pain onto me. luckily for me they do not know i will not roll over and will beat them in the end. People showing up at my door unannounced trying to buy my home, taking pictures and endless mailings from foreclosure attorneys etc. they even are trying to roll in time barred debts to pump the numbers up to create more pressure and harm to break people down.

Harrowing story, yea I remember Selene Finance had sent people out to my property placing stickers on the door claiming it was abandoned and you would have to call Selene to state otherwise.

I would try reaching out to your local news and see if they will air your story.
