My mortgage from Chase was transferred to Selene in December. I was on a 6 month forbearance from Chase at the time waiting for a response until I got the letter about the transfer. I waited for correspondence from Selene – I received NOTHING until I went on the website with my address and loan number provided to me by Chase. I made a partial payment because I was trying to show good faith. They have sent numerous letters with, they have called, I talked to them multiple times. They told me how to submit the application for a loan modification and I did, they acknowledged they received it and a decision would be made shortly. I still do not have the options. They call weekly and say they don’t see an active loan modification application – I tell them weekly that that is not true and that a representative last week escalated it to her manager that my decision was due weeks ago. Still nothing. I don’t know what to do- I can’t pay a lump sum and have told them that and multiple people say “don’t worry, this is on us- we haven’t provided you any answers yet and we should have”.
Selene is not in the lending business, they are in the foreclosure on sub prime loans business, prey on the vulnerable , they are not a loan broker or bank, they are a loan servicer , I am not aware they are licensed in any state as a lender? I have not heard anyone who has had their loan modification approved by selene? If you think they are working on a loan mod for you, than you are sadly mistaken, they never intended to do a loan mod,make sure you keep detailed records/recordings let my guess they will not email with you? Why wouldn’t they use email ? Because they intend to foreclose on you, no record of what was said, so what they want it to say,from what they remember, will be used and what you really said will disappear now you have given all your information and they are not going to use it to help you, they are in the foreclose on people who are having a rough time and now you gave them a map on how they are going XXXX you over, they do not care about good faith , they are a foreign partnership , openly taking advantage of Americans down on their luck, with some of the best US lawyers, they know you can not afford a good or any lawyer, we care about good faith and we believe they are honest, no they are giving you a false sense of security and never intended to do anything but use our legal loop holes to foreclose on you, spend your money on lawyers be on the offensive it will give you the advantage, if you can not afford a lawyer , call your state bar, there is help out there,do not wait, who is the court going to side with? A average honest hard working US citizen or a huge lobby and donate foreign partnership lining all pockets of these public servants, even if you make up the payments , you will be viewed as a looser who breached the contract, they completely condone their actions and the outcome was predetermined, Trust me I have seen dozens and dozens of these public servants not only take bribes but they expect it, God knows !!
