Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could assist us and explain why Selene Finance is not reporting my mortgage on my credit report? We did file for bankruptcy (chapter 7) over 10 years ago and at the time had BOA as our lender.We did a home loan modification back in 2015 and have never missed a payment. We are now trying to refinance our mortgage to consolidate some debt and the person who is working with us for the new loan is telling us Selene is not reporting our mortgage payments? They said they don’t even show us having a mortgage.
Is it because of the chapter 7? Can we adjust this so our payments show on our credit?
The same thing has happened to me with selene finance, although I did not file a bankruptcy. No payment history kumbha nothing even showing I had a mortgage for that house. When I asked them to rectify it over the phone, They responded that I would have to do so by letter. And then, before I could send a letter, they conveniently sold my mortgage to another company Was in a period of about a month, or less. This is very stressful to me and is on my mind constantly. I have had nightmares, and am beyond concerned about what this has done and is still doing to my credit.
